Jeani’s involvement in the senior care industry has been a lifelong journey. During her childhood, her father owned a chain of skilled nursing facilities in Michigan prior to making San Diego the family’s permanent home in 1969. As an adult, Jeani and her father founded and operated Southwest Healthcare and Retirement Properties, Inc., specializing in brokering and managing long term care facilities throughout California and the midwest. The partnership continued for over 12 years at which time she stepped back to raise her young family.
In 2007 Jeani was drawn to the home care industry following her mother’s fierce battle against cancer. Though that battle was ultimately lost, her mom’s illness and subsequent passing opened a door that would prove to be Jeani’s future. For the next 7 years home care business development and marketing became her career as well as her passion.
Now, as Co-owner of Care Choice Health Systems, Inc., Jeani is responsible for Business Development, building and nurturing relationships with Clients, their families and community resources. Drawing on decades of experience in the senior care industry, she is committed to identifying gaps in services for older adults and implementing specific programs to meet their needs.
